The tour begins at the Pic du Midi and continues into the evening at the Maison du Tourmalet with passionate astronomers.

The Tour de France stops at the Col du Tourmalet for a spectacular day in the heart of the Pyrenees. Please note: the Pic du Midi will be closed, and traffic conditions will be affected.

The Pic du Midi has teamed up with the association Instant Science, specialists in astronomy-themed events, to offer a new programme of exceptional evenings out where you can commune with the setting sun and the stars! The visit begins at the Pic du Midi and the evening continues at the Tourmalet house with some passionate astronomers.

As part of the Piano Pic festival, Franco-American pianist David Lively—a winner of prestigious international competitions—will perform a classical concert high in the mountains. His virtuoso and sensitive playing, in the tradition of Claudio Arrau, echoes against the peaks of the Pic du Midi, creating a uniquely moving experience.

Get ready to rock out with Skip The Use for an explosive live show set against the backdrop of sky and earth! The famous French electro-rock band led by the charismatic Mat Bastard. Support act: Franck & Damien, a folk-rock and country roots duo from Bordeaux, will perform songs inspired by the great outdoors and warm harmonies.
