Concerts with a view of the Pyrenees!

A music stage has been set up at an altitude of 2,877 metres! That’s an event in itself! Culture and music have been resonating at the summit of the Pic du Midi since 2015, hosting intimate concerts.

Since the first Piano Pic festival, various artists have performed on our unique stage: Synapson (2018), Murray HEAD (2016), DJ FEDER (2017), Christophe Willem (2018), ZAZIE (2019), Cali (2023) and Zaho de Sagazan (2024), as well as Iam and Véronique Sanson in 2025.

15 July 2026 | PIANO PIC - David Lively

In the prestigious setting of the Piano Pic festival, let yourself be enchanted by the talent of David Lively during a classical music concert at high altitude. This Franco-American pianist, whose extraordinary career has been crowned by victories in the most prestigious international competitions (Long-Thibaud, Tchaikovsky, Queen Elisabeth), promises a moment of pure emotion. A disciple of the great Claudio Arrau, he will bring his piano to life against the breathtaking panorama of the Pic du Midi. An unforgettable musical and visual experience, where virtuosity meets the beauty of the peaks.

18 July 2026 | Skip The Use

Get ready to rock out with Skip The Use for an explosive live show suspended between heaven and earth! The famous French electro-rock band led by the charismatic Mat Bastard.

Support act: Franck & Damien, a folk-rock and country roots duo from Bordeaux, will perform songs inspired by the great outdoors and warm harmonies.

25 July 2026 | Yannick Noah

From his victory at Roland Garros to his greatest musical hits, Yannick Noah has never stopped bringing people together, thrilling audiences and radiating a unique energy. In 2019, Yannick Noah released a new album, *Bonheur Indo*, featuring the track *Viens*, written by the well-known Hautes-Pyrénées band Boulevard des Airs. There is no doubt that this artist, who has left his mark on an entire generation, will set the tone for the summit.

Supporting the main act is ÔZAM, a singer-songwriter from Lourdes, who offers an intimate acoustic pop-folk sound, carried by a warm voice and poetic lyrics.

Experience a magical night where electronic music reaches for the stars! DJ and producer Mosimann takes to the decks at the summit of the Pic du Midi for a powerful and immersive set.

5 August 2026 | Suzane

Join the phenomenon that is Suzane for an exclusive live performance at extreme altitude! A true force on stage and a leading figure in the new wave of French music, the Victoires de la Musique award-winner is set to rock the summit of the Pic du Midi.

Support act: SHOWHER, two performers: two keyboards, a blue guitar, electronic loops triggered on a pad, two intertwining voices and swaying bodies.

12 August 2026 | Thylacine

Electronic music prodigy Thylacine takes to the Pic du Midi (2,877 m) for a concert high above the ground, amidst the constellations. Known for his ethereal compositions and striking visual style, the artist promises to blend his hypnotic beats with the vastness of the Pyrenean night sky.

Support act: Producer Lysten will open the evening with poignant and introspective instrumental music. Between suspended silences and intense flights of fancy, his live performance will guide you on a captivating inner journey.

Concerts that respect our unique environment!

Just like the Cité de Carcassonne, the Palace of Versailles and the Ancient Theatre of Orange, these cultural landmarks have successfully combined spectacular events with heritage conservation.

Zero light pollution: the sunset as the sole backdrop

Committed to the International Dark Sky Reserve (2013) and Starlight (2022) initiatives, we have chosen to adjust our performance times. Our concerts take place from 7pm to 9.30pm, ending at nightfall. The stage lighting is deliberately minimalist, with no staging other than the natural spectacle of the sunset over the Pyrenees.

Managing the acoustic footprint: an intimate and respectful capacity

To preserve the absolute tranquillity of the high mountains, our events prioritise an intimate atmosphere, with a deliberately limited capacity of 700 spectators. The sound system is technically restricted: the sound is calibrated to prevent any acoustic dispersion into the surrounding natural environment.

A virtuous model bridging culture and scientific heritage

These (exceptional) events help fund the maintenance of very costly historic infrastructure and ensure the long-term future of scientific research activities.

Sporting events

Since opening to the public, a number of exceptional events have taken place at the summit. This offers a chance to discover the Pic du Midi from a unique perspective. The programme is highly varied, featuring a mix of major sporting and spectacular challenges, such as the French record for pendulum jumping set by Pyrénaline. It is also a venue for mountain races and competitions, in summer with, for example, the Grand Raid des Pyrénées, the Caminade, the Pyr ‘Epic’ mountain bike enduro, or in winter for skiing, with the famous Derby and the Coumes du Pic. A tennis court was even set up on the terraces for a match between Guy Forget and Mansour Bahrami!

Charity events

Le Pic en Rose marked the Pic du Midi’s participation in Pink October (the fight against breast cancer), with an incredible performance by Yann Kersalé.

Culinary events

The great chefs of French gastronomy, famous chefs and pastry chefs such as Philippe Urraca, Cyril Lignac, Michel Sarran and Franck Renimel, to name but a few, were keen to show that gastronomy has a very special place at the summit!
